Join Ms. Toughey for this brand-new "Chinese and World Mythology Club"!
This clubs offers an enriching journey through ancient stories and cultures for students in Kindergarten through Grade 3. The group will delve into Chinese mythology while also exploring Greek, Egyptian, Native American, and Japanese legends.
Led by Ms. Toughey, children will engage in hands-on activities like crafting dragon puppets, building sugar cube pyramids, and creating zodiac masks. Each session features a carefully selected book to enhance literacy skills and cultural understanding.
The curriculum is designed to foster critical thinking, creativity, and global awareness while introducing age-appropriate concepts in history, geography, and cultural studies. Through interactive storytelling, art projects, and themed snacks, students will develop a deeper appreciation for diverse cultures and mythological traditions.
This academically enriching program not only entertains but also lays a foundation for future studies in literature, history, and social sciences, making it a valuable and enriching activity for your child's education and personal growth.
