Description

Prerequisite: The prerequisite for Chemistry Honors is Algebra II/H and department approval (dependent on current math/science performance).

Chemistry Honors instructs the student in the study of matter and energy.

Topics include structure and states of matter as well as chemical reactions. Descriptive chemistry and laboratory work, including the qualitative and quantitative aspects of experimental design, are emphasized.

Enrollment in summer Chemistry does not automatically signify approval to an AP course in the Fall.
