This is an all day camp. The morning is spent in the classroom with academic instruction. The afternoon will be spent having fun in the sun at Doheny beach. Students will be transported to and from the beach.
Accelerate your reading and writing skills in this packed week of writer’s workshop! Study from mentor texts, create your own stories, and develop a love of writing.
This course will focus on the writing process and the benefits of generating strong ideas, drafting, revising, and editing our work prior to final publication. Personal narratives, creative writing, persuasive writing, and writing conventions will all be a focus as we develop our writing skills.
