Crochet with Mrs. Hill, who has previously taught a Knitting Club for Middle School students and who is an avid crafter. Mrs. Hill will teach you to crochet and make amigurumi, and crafts based on student's interest. Time permitting, student can dabble in knitting as well.
Crochet tops, bags, blankets and charms are trendy, fun, and it's an easy craft to learn! Students will be given yarn, crochet hooks, and all the tools required as well as a list of items to bring if they choose to purchase their own supplies.
Starting with the basics for those who have never crocheted, and a review for those who are proficient, this class will be for everyone who has ever wanted to learn this craft.
Doing handwork such as crochet and knitting provides many benefits, such as improved hand eye coordination, focus, perseverance and seeing a project through from start to finish.
Join us in the Fall of 2024 for this fun club!
Students are expected to report to the Middle School conference room promptly at 3:30 p.m. Snacks will be provided but students may bring their own snack as well.
