Supervision and dinner provided for the time between school and the call time for the Concert. Children must be signed up for this to remain on campus.

MS/US Winter Instrumental and Choir Concert Night 1

Location: Performing Arts Center - Marcus D. Hurlbut Theater - 1000
The Arts at St. Margaret’s Presents the 2024 MS and US Winter Instrumental and Choral Concert
The 2024 MS and US Winter Instrumental and Choral Concert will be on Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 12 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Hurlbut Theater. The same concert will be performed on both nights. Musician families will be assigned to attend ONE of the concerts. The other night, please make transportation arrangements for your performer and plan to be off campus during the actual concert. This concert features Middle and Upper School students performing in Band, Orchestra and Choir. Ensembles include: Grade 6 Choir, Grade 6 Band, Grade 6 Orchestra, Grade 7 Choir, Grade 7 Band, Grade 7 Chamber Ensemble, MS/US Lunch Choir, Highlander Chorale, Concert Band, AP Music Theory, Jazz Ensemble, Grades 8-12 Orchestra, and Orchestra Honors. On your assigned night, you will need to show your ticket to enter the theater.
Call Time
On Wednesday, Dec. 11, the call time for performers is 6 p.m.
Performance Time: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
On Thursday, Dec. 12, the call time for performers is 6 p.m.
Performance time: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Concert Attendance Requirement:
In arts classes, Concerts often serve as an important summative assessment. As such, student attendance at Concerts is required. For both concerts, students are required to stay the entire time and instrumental musicians are responsible for helping to put away their instrument. Audience members are also encouraged to stay through the entire performance to support all of the student performers.
